How much does
a website cost?

An honest breakdown — no "starting from" fine print. We explain what makes up the total, why identical-looking websites can cost five times more or less, and how to read a quote so you're not paying for thin air.

Why there's no price list

A website's price is hours, not a catalog SKU.

  • A one-page site and a store with live inventory sync differ tenfold in effort
  • A number quoted before scoping the job always carries a buffer for the unknown
  • Or it's too low — and the gap shows up as extra charges later
  • Identical-looking websites can have quotes five times apart
  • The difference is almost never the design — it's what's running underneath

Timelines

How long each type takes

01
Landing page — 4–8 hours
One page for one product: structure, design, build, a lead form, analytics. We show it the same day — changes get made live on the call.
02
Corporate site — 2–3 days
5–15 pages, a structure built around your services, a content admin panel, basic SEO. The timeline grows with the number of unique templates, not the number of pages.
03
Online store — 1–2 weeks
Catalog, filters, cart, payment, shipping, a customer account. This is where the real spread starts — it depends on integrations.
04
A service with custom logic — 3+ weeks
Calculations, roles, dashboards, internal workflows. This only gets estimated after scoping — anything else is guesswork.

These timelines are shorter than usual not because we build from templates. We just have a tight process: ready infrastructure, modern tooling, and no weeks lost approving mockups internally. A traditional agency stretches the same work into a month — part of that time goes into back-and-forth emails, not development.

Important: the price is based on the complexity of the task, not the calendar time. Fast doesn't mean cheap, and it definitely doesn't mean rushed. It means you start making money from the site in a week, not a quarter.

What drives the price

Design isn't what gets expensive. What's underneath it does.

1C sync Inventory & pricing ERIP Card processing Marketplaces CRM Customer accounts Load
  • Integrations. Syncing with 1C (the ERP suite standard across the CIS), pushing listings to marketplaces, sending leads to a CRM — the most expensive part, because it depends on someone else's systems
  • Payments. ERIP (Belarus's national payment system) and card processing require paperwork on the bank's side, not just code
  • Catalog. A hundred products and a hundred thousand are different architectures, not the same one with more items
  • Content. Copywriting, photos, and migrating the old site are often left out of the plan — and that's dozens of hours
  • Custom logic. Your own calculations, roles, approval flows — priced only after scoping
  • Speed and load. A site for 100 visitors and one for 10,000 at once are different solutions

How to read a quote

It's not the website that's cheaper. It's the scope.

  • Is there a prototype and custom design — or is it built on a ready-made template
  • Responsive for every screen size, or just desktop
  • Is testing included, or will you be checking it yourself
  • Does it include migrating content from the old site
  • Is basic SEO included: sitemap, structured data, meta tags
  • Who gets the source files, domain, and access credentials after delivery
  • What happens to edits after launch and what they cost

Beyond development

Line items you don't pay to us

01
Domain and hosting
The one mandatory, most predictable line item. It's registered to your company, not to the contractor — that matters.
02
Accepting payments
ERIP and card-processing fees are charged on every transaction. On thin margins, that adds up — plan for it in advance. We cover how ERIP integration works in a separate guide.
03
Licenses and add-ons
If the site runs on a commercial CMS, the license and any paid add-ons come on top of development — sometimes yearly.
04
Support after launch
Security updates and further changes. Only hosting is mandatory — everything else is as-needed.

How we quote

A quote in a day. The price doesn't change after that.

First we scope the task on a call — forty minutes, free. Then we break the work into stages and lock the total into the contract. If it turns out more is needed along the way, that's our estimating mistake, not your extra bill.

  • Scoping call — 40 minutes, free
  • Itemized quote by stage — in a day
  • The price is locked into the contract
  • We show progress every two weeks
  • Source files, domain, and access — yours

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Why can't you just quote a website price over the phone?

Because a "website" isn't off-the-shelf. A one-page site and a store with live inventory sync differ tenfold in effort. A number quoted before scoping the job is either padded for the unknown or set too low — and what's missing shows up as extra charges later.

What's the most expensive part of building a website?

Integrations and custom logic. Design and build are predictable — but syncing with 1C, keeping inventory in sync, wiring up payments, and pushing listings to marketplaces eat up the most hours, because they depend on other companies' systems, which behave unpredictably.

Why do prices vary so much between studios?

Most of the time, people are comparing different things. A cheap quote usually skips the prototype, responsive design for every screen size, testing, basic SEO, and content migration. It's not the website that's cheaper — it's the scope. Compare line by line, not the bottom line.

Can I get a cheaper website with a site builder?

Yes, and sometimes that's the right call — if you need a simple business-card site with no integrations. The trouble starts once the business grows: syncing with an accounting system, custom pricing logic, performance under load. That's where a site builder hits its ceiling, and everything has to be rebuilt from scratch.

How much does support cost after launch?

It's calculated separately from development and depends on what you actually need: hosting and domain renewal, security updates, changes on request. Only hosting and the domain are mandatory — everything else is added as needed.

What's in the quote besides the development itself?

The domain and hosting, an SSL certificate, payment-processor fees once payments are live, and sometimes CMS licenses or paid modules. These line items aren't paid to us, but you still need to budget for them.
